This Thursday & Friday I have had the great pleasure of working and being with Zerif Karwadya, who came as a guest on yesterday's Corporate Grand Battue British Style Driven shoot. Now our rules do not permit complete Novice shooters to take part on a live shoot, however Zeriff agreed to have a two hour lesson with me on the Thursday and then I would Coach / MInd him in the field on Friday's shoot. So the job was to go from Novice Gun to Semi Genius in one mighty leap and I am both delighted and proud to say Zerif rose to the Challenge and successfully and most importantly Safely shot as member of the Gun Line contributing 8 superbly shoot high Pheasants to the bag! So we had to go from never having ever picked up a shotgun to shooting Gun Down (Low Gun) correctly, successfully and safely with just 2 hours intensive instruction. The best result of all is that Zerif has been bitten by the Bug and will be coming back to the Shooting School to continue developing his skills for both driven wing shooting and Sporting Clays.
